On Friday 7th December the community of Garrison came together to host a concert in the Gilaroo Centre as a start to the Christmas season.
The children from Garrison Primary School and Belleek C.P.S. sang some lovely carols together and performed a seasonal recitation.
The pupils of St. Mary’s High school Brollagh performed and the choirs of Garrison, Slavin, Belleek & Kiltyclogher Church of Ireland & St Mary’s Queen of Peace sang 4 carols together.
During the interval seasonal refreshments were served and the children were presented with selection boxes for taking part.
The Shanallen Singers from Ballinaglera performed and “Bel Canto” from Ballyshannon rounded the evening off with their beautiful performance of “Ding Dong Merrily On High”. As a finale all the choirs amounting to over 60 singers took to the stage to sing White Christmas & We wish you a merry Christmas ending a most enjoyable evening
